Secret Smile..

I missed another animation movie!! and that is MADAGASCAR, (…frown…)

(did  I tell you I LOVE animation movies? .. did I?)

This always happens, as I always didn’t get the chance and a partner to watch it. (frown again). I always have the intention and effort of checking the movies availability on papers and websites, but always missed the chance at the same time. One day, I stood in front of the KLCC movie theatre, I was about to buy the tickets, but I dont have anyone to accompany me.. surely,   watching movie ‘alone’ is totally pathetic, at least to me, I think so.. Well, I’m not the type who watches the movie ‘alone’. Of course it’s no fun, and it spoils the fun, spending your money - to have fun - but how do you enjoy ‘fun’ when ur alone, without someone to share it with..? (sigh..) I hope ur not confused with me.

I actually like to watch animated movies, remember Dinosour, 3-4 years back? My sister said its a waste of money spending it on animated movies, so I had to watch it alone. That was when I realized that watching the movie itself is fun and satisfying, ‘coz i like it, but, coming out of the theatre, not able to share the happiness and fun, makes it unquenching. It feels like winning 1st in a 100m race, but no one is cheering you! can you get the feeling? (sigh..)

well, to me, if you cant get a friend to join you to the movies, might as well watch it on VCD or DVD - alone, but then, you wont be able to get  a copy of the movie too soon, unless, if its pirated, which we do not want to get involve in, right? (ha ha! wrrright *) I’m not a CD buyer, though, so, no effort towards that either.

I have missed a lot of animated series on theatre - Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Lion King, (those were the days) Ice Age, Toy Story 1, Shrek 1, Monster’s Inc., Robots,.. an now the list continues - Madagascar! Why dont people prefer to watch animation on theatres? Why do they like so much to watch everything else, though? Luckily I got to watch Beauty and the Beast and Finding Nemo, Toy Story 2, D Emperors New Groove, Shark Tale & The Incredibles.. ( big wide smile!! )

When I was with my friends, during Uni years, I get to watch movies easily with them. Now, everyone is busy working, managing their lives, just like me. the happy times are not easily caught now. I sure miss those days…

What? Watch’em with Basid??? No way jose! he’s not a movie person! He’s never even went into a movie theatre before, that sacred man!!! ( sigh! … why me…? )
